IN ANGELS HISTORY
It began in September 1996 in a
small computer lab where I found out about free web hosting
services from the website wbs.net, which has since taken
down its site. I began learning
the many aspects of setting up a webpage and wanted to do
something on the crow. I
was a huge fan of the film and comic and decided that it
was appropriate to
showcase
it on the web.
As
with anyone starting sites at the time, 1.0 was a long scrolling
nightmare of text and images. I
then moved on to hosting the site on Tripod after
my fascination with the website The Crow:Believe
in the Afterlife also hosted by Tripod.
Through its many incarnations, 5.0 is solidly the best looking
and easiest to navigate. I am very
proud of the work and thank the film and fans for the inspiration
always. I hope to maintain this
one for a long time. And maybe there will be a 6.0. We will
have to wait and see. Sayonara to Tripod for starting off
great and ending off sucking everything
out of any user. Despite this we are 7 years into
our history and still cawing.
